What certifications do you have?

You don’t have to worry about choosing the right packaging or other shipping details—we’ll be happy to arrange delivery of our rendered animal fats and animal meal right to your doorstep.

We use no chemicals when processing fat - we heat it with steam (wet rendering) and then centrifuge the mixture. We never use preservatives. Antioxidants are added only at the customer's request, and only for pet food products. The type and the dose are the customer's choice and follow their own formulation, typically in the range of hundreds of ppm. If a specific product is prescribed on your side, state it with the enquiry.

We use the term "Tallow" (in the EU also Adeps Bovis, EC 263-099-1) for beef tallow and "Adeps Suillus" (EC 263-100-5) for pork lard.

It depends on the product and the size of your order. To give you an idea, here is a typical packaging method based on shipment size and product type:

Rendered animal fats:

• Small packages – for these, we most often choose 60- or 120-liter plastic drums certified for food contact, but other packaging can be selected by agreement. This packaging is typically chosen by customers in the cosmetics and chemical industries.
• 210-liter steel drums (approx. 175 kg) – chosen by customers using the fat for technical purposes.
• IBC containers – the happy medium for customers who need several hundred kilograms or a few tons of fat. This packaging is chosen, for example, by smaller feed manufacturers.
• Tank trucks – ideal for large feed and biofuel manufacturers.

Into tankers the fat goes heated, so that it discharges at your site at a minimum of 60 °C. Into drums and smaller packaging it is dispatched chilled and solid.

Animal meal:

• Big bag – a truck can be fully loaded with them (approx. 24 tons), but we also supply individual bags if you need a smaller volume, such as 6 tons, etc.
• Tilt-top trailer (open-top, capacity approx. 24 tons) – ideal for larger deliveries, for example, to feed manufacturers.
