Mainly used in industries such as:

Biofuels	Rendered fats, especially those of lower quality, are used to make biodiesel and other biofuels. Animal fats and oils are an alternative source of energy and can be converted into environmentally friendly fuel.
Chemical industry	Rendered fats and oils serve as raw materials for the production of detergents, lubricants, waxes and other chemical products, as well as traditional candles. Fats are also used in processes where a certain viscosity or chemical reactivity is required.
